to enable this compact and lightweight, single-finger reader, certified PIV-071006 and Appendix F Mobile ID FAP 30 compliant. Columbo is based on proprietary LES—Light Emitting Sensor technology combined with a patented capture method that produces high-quality fingerprint images. This is a technology that gives excellent performance in challenging conditions and also lends itself to very wide-ranging applications, among them secure access control and identity verification.
The Columbo is packaged in an IP54 rugged package, making it dust- and water-resistant. There are a number of versions available—differentiated only by the type of casing used—all of which share the same high-performance sensor. Apart from this, there is a support module,we provide here , which eases integration into existing systems.
Once the driver is downloaded, install it with the following steps:
Extract the Downloaded File: Extract the driver file to any folder on your computer.
Connect the Columbo Scanner: Plug the scanner into an available USB port.
Run Installer: Double-click the Setup file from that folder to start the installation process.
Follow On-Screen Instructions: Complete the installation using the Installation Wizard.
Also, remember to restart your computer after installation to complete the configuration of the driver.
