Note-AAs per the latest UIDAI release dated March 25, 2025, all requesting entities and ASAs in the Aadhaar authentication ecosystem are informed that the whitelisting of new L0 fingerprint registered devices has been discontinued since October 1, 2024. The sunset period for existing L0 fingerprint registered devices, which remain valid as per the Public Device Certificate (PDC), has been extended until June 30, 2025. From July 1, 2025, an additional fee may be imposed on transactions conducted using L0 fingerprint registered devices, in accordance with sub-regulation (7) of regulation 12 of the Aadhaar (Authentication and Offline Verification) Regulations, 2021. Installation support from Radium Box will be available until the end of the validity period, but authentication services will rely entirely on the UIDAI server.

The installation wizard must appear on the screen; just click "Next" and it will guide you through the setup wizard to make sure that the required service is installed nicely.

Your Startek scanner will not scan with the RD service if, for example, there is a connection fault in a device, serial number is wrong or outdated software. All you need is that it is properly connected to serial number whitelisting, the Operating System and the browser updated; then add as trusted site and wait for about 8 hours to be autoactivated if all else is fine.

It might be because of connection problems, an incompatible OTG connector, or denied USB permissions. If the scanner is not working with the RD service, then perhaps it's outdated applications, an expired subscription or warranty, or the device is blocked. Make sure that everything is set correctly, including the update required.

This error messages say that your device isn't registered with the RD Service. In order to rectify this, one just needs to register the devices online so that it comes under the registered devices within the RD Service.
